Sailing in Melbourne

The first group event of 2008 for Best Buddies High Schools in Victoria was sailing and a picnic at Lysterfield Lake on 2 March. Two students write about why they enjoy Best Buddies, and what was great about this event:

Kaitlyn (Heatherwood School)

Why I like Best Buddies: It is social and I like being with mainstream people. I like to learn new things. Kathleen and I both have the same interests like a good sense of humour. The best group activity was sailing because we got to catching up and talking about everything and it was nice and relaxing to spend time with your Buddy.

Ashanthi (Heatherwood School)

I went sailing with my best buddy Anastasia and we had a picnic and lots of fun. We nearly tipped over and we went round and round in circles and we laughed a lot. I like my best buddy because she is so nice to me and we have fun.
