On 15 May one of our buddy pairs was invited to attend a special Bridge to Volunteering presentation as part of Nationa Volunteer Week by the NSW Centre for Volunteering.
Joshua and Michael from Kellyville Chapter in New South Wales spoke before about 100 people gathered at NSW Parliament House describing what their volunteering experience is all about.
They were the standout performance of five speakers as they talked about being inclusive, understanding and having a reciprocal friendship. They also got a few laughs as they made some jokes about what more Best Buddies could do with more funding!
