e.law Asia Pacific Raising Money for Best Buddies Australia

e.law Asia Pacific has decided to gain sponsorship at this year’s Sydney Nissan/BRW Corporate Triathlon event to raise money for Best Buddies. On Sunday 18 April, e.law Asia Pacific will be participating in the event at Mrs Macquaries Point in Sydney. This is the second time in the event for the e.law team who is already in preparation for the event and looking forward to the fun day out!

The Corporate Triathlon is now in it's 23rd year and continues to build on its iconic status amongst the Australian corporate community with a unique event format, fostering the development of important corporate values; such as team work and company pride, whilst simultaneously promoting the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.

The e.law team members are; Allison Stanfield, Bronwyn Barker, Jeff Jarrett, Allan Watt, Daniel Walton and Benjamin Kennedy. The team is extremely excited about the event and supporting Best Buddies. Team members have been carrying out intense training and preparation for the day, taking time out for running, swimming and cycling.

Allan Watt, head of the e.forensics department at e.law comments;

“I have totally changed my lifestyle, not only for this event but also for my health. I am following an intensive triathlon training programme and I feel fantastic. The event has motivated me to lose weight and I am really enjoying the exercise and new lease of life. I am proud to admit I have lost 18kg in three months, which is great!  I am really pleased to be participating in the corporate triathlon for such a good cause and to be part of the Best Buddies organization, let’s hope we manage to raise lots of money for them!”

Keep an eye on the e.law website for updates, photos and videos of the team in action!

Allison Stanfield, CEO of e.law chose to sponsor Best Buddies as she believes it is important that people with intellectual disabilities are recognised, embraced by society and valued in the workplace. e.law wish to assist as much as they can in helping Best Buddies grow and develop in the future.

We really need your help to reach the target of $8,000 to raise funds for Best Buddies and also to encourage and motivate the e.law triathlon team. Click through to the e.law fundraising page and support the team and Best Buddies today!
