With the dawning of a new day came the excitement from the students involved in Best Buddies at Sydney Secondary College - Leichhardt Campus. On the 9th of June we all travelled down to Pancakes on the Rocks.
This was a good day as the students got to enjoy the wonderful food on offer. Whether it was nachos or 'Devils Delights' or just a stack of pancakes, afterwards everyone was 'as full as a bull'.
New members to the program got to experience the way we enjoy our 'hard work ' by getting up and dancing to the classic songs that we all loved from the jukebox.
The end of the day was also filled with excitement as we went down and took some photos in front of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
This was an enjoyable day that was anticipated and loved by all who attended.
The students involved in Best Buddies at Leichhardt would like to make special thanks to the staff at Pancakes on the Rocks, Ms. Lisa Hartemink and Ms. Lyn Robinson for allowing us to have such a great day.
