Fairvale High School recently held a Fundraising Cake Stall at their school. One of the young leadership team Ashlee had this to say about the day:
"On the 7th of May 2010 we got together with our buddies and held a cake stall. Before the cake stall was held, we all got together with our buddies and helped each other to make signs and posters to put up around the school so that everyone was aware of this up coming event.
Every body bought in all different cakes from home that they had made or brought and then we sold them. Most of the cakes we sold were between $1-$2. We sold the cakes at recess.
The cake stall went VERY successfully, there was not even enough for us to sell at senior lunch because they selled really quick at junior lunch! They (we!) raised over $270!
Just want to thank Ms Alalikin, Mr Groth and Natalie for allowing and helping us to have this cake stall. Also want to thank every body that helped on the day to bring in cakes and sell them. Well done everybody!"
