Airds BBQ Fundraiser

On the 27^th of August the Best Buddies program successfully ran a barbeque fundraiser at Airds High School. The Best Buddies co-ordinator Natalie Bishop attended the barbeque and helped in coordinating the event. Mr Oczos and Miss Sams, the school coordinators helped to run the barbeque and cook the food.

The Buddies with great enthusiasm collected money, cooked, advertised and cleaned. Ben, Coral-Lee, Joshua, Alex, Rhianna, Tiphanie, Cynthia, Tim and Damien really enjoyed working together, achieving their personal best.

The buddies all had positions to help with the barbeque e.g. Ben was helping hand out the drinks, Rhianna was doing the sausages, Tiphanie was handling money, Alex cooked the sausages, Joshua put bread on serviettes, Coral-lee did onion and Cynthia got stuck guarding the door!

After the BBQ ended we all helped clean and the best part was that we all got recorded by the UTS student camera crew called Laura and Annabelle and it is all about working together and doing your best to achieve big things.

Thanks to all the people that helped out to make this BBQ happen and especially to the Best Buddies co-ordinators Miss Sams, Mr Oczos and Natalie Bishop for making the BBQ happen and helping us make the best sausage sandwiches in the world!
