Like every not-for-profit organisation, Best Buddies Australia has financial needs, specifically relating to the provision of the staff who support our High Schools and Citizens programs.
Sponsoring Best Buddies Australia will allow your company to partner with a new, exciting and growing organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with an intellectual disability.
To maximise strategic objectives, Best Buddies Australia will work with each Sponsor to design a comprehensive benefits package with a view to a win-win cause related marketing partnership.
We understand that getting involved with a not-for-profit organisation is similar to developing a friendship; it takes time, patience, understanding and a little bit of effort. But just like our Buddy relationships, a corporate or personal partnership with BBA will reap many mutual rewards.
There are number of ways that you can help us out through sponsoring:
Bronze Sponsorship
At entry level, these sponsorships provide a basic branding opportunity for the private sector. Branding opportunities include having the Sponsor’s logo added to the BBA website, and acknowledgement during the year at key BBA events. BBA will also supply general updates via the eNewsletter throughout the year.
The benefits can include:
- Invitation to all significant BBA events for the duration of the sponsorship.
- Networking and public relations opportunities with Political and Business Leaders.
- Branding opportunities with logo and web link posted on the BBA Website identified as a sponsor.

Silver Sponsorship - Great Mates Program
Great Mates provides the most direct and personal way for the private sector to engage with BBA. Each High School Chapter organises four community events per year. Great Mates sponsorship allows the staff of a sponsoring company to attend these events and form a direct relationship with the young people in each High School Chapter (subject to BBA’s child protection policy). The program also offers training for staff and various branding opportunities.
A key element of Great Mates is also the support provided to the High School Chapter in sending one of the participants (Buddy or Peer) to the USA for the International Leadership Conference held in July. Those sponsored to attend are required to report back in writing to their sponsors about the opportunity and learning they received.

Gold Sponsorship
As a primary sponsor, the Gold Sponsor will have high visibility branding on key Best Buddies Australia merchandise produced during the year. This includes all t-shirts, rugby tops and hooded sweat shirts. Sponsorship also ensures branding opportunities on the front page of the website, and at all key Best Buddies Australia events during the year including the Annual Dinner.
Key sponsor staff will be ensured attendance at the events during the year and provided the opportunity to meet with key Best Buddies personnel and significant guests. We will also supply regular updates through the eNewsletter throughout the year.

Title Sponsorship
Title Sponsors have unprecedented access to the Best Buddies Australia Great Mates Program and the opportunity to lead the private sector in supporting intellectual disability within Australia.
Including access to a named High School Chapter, a Title Sponsor will have the opportunity to place their name before the program name (X Great Mates Program) on all merchandise, advertising and promotional material.
