| Like every not-for-profit organisation, Best Buddies Australia has financial needs, specifically relating to the provision of the staff who support our High Schools and Citizens programs. The reality for Best Buddies is that the majority of our costs relate to employing our Program Managers. Program Managers, recruit, train, assess and support all our Buddies, as well as plan events and drive all the great initiatives Best Buddies is known for. Sponsoring Best Buddies Australia will allow your company to partner with a new, exciting and growing organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with an intellectual disability. To maximise strategic objectives, Best Buddies Australia will work with each Sponsor to design a comprehensive package with a view to a win-win partnership. We understand that getting involved with a not-for-profit organisation is similar to developing a friendship; it takes time, patience, understanding and a little bit of effort. But just like our Buddy relationships, a corporate or personal partnership with BBA will reap many mutual rewards. There are number of ways that you can help us out through sponsoring, just as there are a number of ways to describe how the relationship develops. At Best Buddies we tend to believe that if we have a great model of how to partner, then we should try and learn from that, then get better. How have we partnered with organisations in the past? Firstly, we found a partner who was interested in Best Buddies Australia. Then we meet and chat about what we do, and what the organisation is looking for. If this matches then we proceed. Best Buddies offers a great Lunch'N'Learn Program for staff. This is about introducing Best Buddies but more importantly sharing valuable knowledge about Social Inclusion and Intellectual Disability. We love organise simple events. The type of events where staff and managers can meet our participants and get involved. We evaluate how things are going, and if things are working well we plan more events and activities. Previously, our partners have not only enjoyed our events, but contributed to our Board, helped with our strategic planning, assisted with our website and marketing plans.
