Working across Sydney this new and exciting program delivers unique friendship experiences for adults who have an intellectual disability.
Best Buddies Australia recruits, assesses, train, match and support all participants in the program.
If you would like to be involved, there are a few things you need to know:
- The commitment is for 12 months.
- Buddy Pairs meet twice a month and contact once a week.
- Everyone is assessed, and trained.
- Best Buddies matches on age, gender, likes and proximity (i.e. you need to live close to each other)
