Best Buddies Australia is essentially a volunteer organisation. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to deliver nor support that wonderful friendships that change the lives of those with (and without) disabilities.
There are heaps of ways to volunteer with Best Buddies Australia.
Program Volunteer - Volunteering to be part of our core programs is the best way you can engage with Best Buddies Australia. Whether you are involved with the Best Buddies High School Program, or the Citizen's Program it's a wonderful way to make a real difference. All volunteers are assessed and trained by Program Managers. Volunteers also receive ongoing support with the Buddy friendship.
Event Volunteer - Best Buddies holds multiple events across the year. These events can be small, or one of our major events (BBA Leadership Conference & Best Buddies Day). No matter what size the event, there is always opportunities to volunteer and help out. Role range from simply attending and helping on the day, to larger responsibilities such as sourcing a venue, or planning activities for the day itself. No matter what task it is, Best Buddies staff are there to help, guide, assist and support.
General Volunteer - As Best Buddies grows, there are more and more opportunities to support the organisation from behind the scenes. Whether you have skills in website design, fundraising, social media or office management there are plenty of roles that you can contribute towards.
